Isaac's list is an evolution of the the Wookiee archetype that rose in Season 5 with the reintroduction of Fury of Kashyyyk to the game, and a new spin on the classic "box" Rebel archetype of having figures with defensive abilities that work on other friendly figures stand next to each other in a "box" so they can all benefit from those abilities. Isaac's list is a big departure from the standard old Smuggler's box list though as it does not feature MHD-19 and Miracle Worker, and also revolves mostly around melee figures.
There's actually a fairly complex gameplan that comes with this list. First it's important to notice that Lie in Ambush is in the list, so 1 set of Wookiees will be in reserve for round 1. Yoda, Kanan, and the 2 remaining wookiees will have 2 block tokens each thanks to double Extra Armor. These remaining 4 figures will generally move as a unit, with the Wookiees up front to block line of sight and Kanan and Yoda right behind them. Kanan's Soresu Form helps the nearby Wookiees to roll well on defense in addition to their block token and minimize incoming damage, and Yoda's Force Deflection helps to keep the damage flowing in both directions.
By turn 2, the damaged Wookiees are going to be closing the gap, with Reach from Fury of Kashyyyk making that gap narrower, likely also Focused from Fury of Kashyyyk and with their Fury ability turned on to add an extra surge. And then the 2nd group of wookiees deploys in the back lines with Lie in Ambush, forcing the opponent to contend with being attacked by Wookiees on two fronts.
And Isaac makes sure those Wookiee attacks count, as he has included as many cards as possible to pump up the damage to the Wookiees attacks, including Overwhelming Impact, Deathblow, Feint, Wild Fury, Dying Lunge, and Element of Surprise. The rest of his Command card list are either staples or movement cards, with Get Behind Me rounding it out to allow Kanan or Yoda to intercept an attack at a key moment.
A very interesting list concept that Isaac is now well-known for coming up with and executing on in IACP events.
